Marie Eliza David, 1st daughter and 4th child of Paul David II and Renee Marceleine Vincent, was born on 18 November 1825 in Convent, Louisiana, Saint James Parish. She was baptised on 29 March 1826 at Saint Michael's the Archangel Church in Convent, Louisiana. Her grandparents were Auguste Vincent and Marie Caroline Oubre.
